Lawn-to-Natives conversion for the front yard, using over-turned sod to create large, undulating mounds that provide both visual interest and a visual barrier from the street corner, and the drainage that most natives need. Water-conserving Natives drop the water bill and attract birds, bees and butterflies. On-site cobbles are repurposed into a dry-creek bed.
For the back, a Japanese Zen-inspired garden with a "bath house", includes a hot tub and sauna. Torii gates define seperate garden "rooms", and large tumbled bluestone stepping stones tie the rooms together.
